– Press Release –
We commend President Goodluck Jonathan and his minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga for their awesome projects of Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP) and the National Enterprise Development Programme (NEPED).
We consider these plans as the most economic transformation plan our dear country has ever gotten and we compare it to the Chinese five economic zones economic plan that transformed China into what they are today, therefore we pray that these plans will come to fruition and produce all the aims and objectives into reality.
Ndi-Igbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) supports it and we urge all stakeholders in the project to do their best to ensure that the vision and expectations of these projects do not tarry or fail.
Most importantly, President Goodluck Jonathan must be in the office to oversee the upstart and good implementation of this robust projects at least in the next four years as a change of leadership will cripple the projects.
Therefore, we, on behalf of Ndigbo and all goodwill people of Nigeria urge Mr. President to declare for re-election 2015 as nothing short of that will be acceptable, as all these laudable projects on the pipeline may likely fail in an event of change of leadership.
